Day five we went to Ford's Theatre, the Washington DC temple and we bought Red Velvet cupcakes (yummy!)

Washington DC temple. A little bit of a drive but gorgeous!
We were so sad to say good-bye to Dad and Caitlan but we were so glad they were able to come hang out with us!

We had so much fun! The only down part was that we had to leave so soon! =( Thanks for all of the fun memories in DC. These pictures turned out great and can't wait to see the rest!
So cool! I bet you are glad that you went now while Ethan is a baby and not a curious toddler running around tearing the place apart. It's crazy how at one end of the mall everything looks so close, but you start walking and it takes like forever to get to another site. There is a cool quote and picture of the Founding Fathers inside of the temple. It looks like you guys had a really fun time.
What a fun trip! I wish we lived closer to some of these cool places.
