Ethan's Room

After much "discussion" I finally convinced Rick to help me paint Ethan's room.  Since our plans for Saturday were ruined due to the rain, we decided to paint instead.

Taping off the stripes.

Almost done...

Done!  We still have a few more things we need to do but his room is turning out so fun!  You can't tell from the picture but the lime on the walls matches his bedding perfectly.

Ethan Update

Ethan is such a joy to be around.  He loves to smile and play and only gets cranky when he is tired, hungry, or not getting enough attention.  He is also a chatterbox and talks to me all day long.  His newest "tricks" are grabbing his feet and trying to put them in his mouth and playing with his tongue to make smacking noises.

Ethan at 3 months.  Love that face!

Ethan's favorite way to sleep.  There is no swaddling for this kid.

Just learned how to hold his on bottle.

His favorite toy.  Mine too!  This is how I get stuff done during the day.

This picture makes me giggle!

My 4 month old!  His fourth month stats:

Height: 26 3/4"  95th percentile
Weight: 17 lbs 9.5 oz 90th percentile
Head: 16 1/8" 20th percentile

My chunky monkey!

Halfway Done!

To celebrate the last day of school of our second year we went to dinner with a group of friends.  It was so much fun and we're so glad we are halfway there!

The boys (including a few sons)

The wonderful wives.  These ladies are the best!

Our little family.  Ethan and I are so proud of Rick and all of his hard work.  Two more years to go!

Indy 500

Some friends of ours gave us tickets to some of the events leading up to the Indy 500.

We went to a practice day at the track.  Ethan did pretty well until we got to close to the track and then the loud noises scared him.  Jenna and I feeding our babies in front of the museum (and away from the track).

Rick at one of the time trials.

Somehow he found these military guns at the track and was so excited because he recognized many of them from his video games.  Obviously he plays xbox a little TOO much.

Mother's Day and Birthday

Mother's Day Family Picture:  We take a picture for Mother's Day every year to send to my mom, this was the winner for this year.  I love Ethan's face!  He was happy but he just wouldn't smile.

Ethan and Mommy on Mother's Day.  I love my chunkers.

Ethan and Mommy on my birthday.  We had a relaxing day followed by a yummy dinner out with daddy.

Happy Easter

This year Ethan was too young to do much for Easter so we decided to just take a picture with the bunny and call it good.  The Saturday before Easter we headed to the mall.

He crashed while waiting in line to see the Easter Bunny.

Picture with the creepy bunny...we couldn't get him to smile but at least he didn't cry!

Ethan and his basket.  We only got him a few things since he had no clue what was going on but it sure was fun for us.
