Happy Birthday!

This weekend we celebrated my 25th birthday. I was a little wary of my birthday (for some reason turning 25 has just made me feel OLD) but Rick always makes it fun. For example I was only awake for about ten minutes when he decided I needed to open my presents and then proceeded to pile them on me. He also sang "Happy Birthday" to me about five times throughout the day. Later that night we played Rock Band again with Steve, Amanda, Emily, and Todd (we even got Kathy to play with us for a little bit). The best part about the day though was by delicious cake from Nothing Bundt Cake. It was wonderful! Thanks, hon!

What do you remember about your childhood summers?

Playing night games with the other kids in the neighborhood, we loved playing "Kick the Can" and "Hide and Seek"

Going to the beach almost every week and when we were lucky, having a bonfire at night

Eating boysenberries off of the bush in our backyard

Our Fourth of July block party and then watching the fireworks

Going to the Del Mar Fair, when I was younger my dance group would perform on one of the stages on the Fourth of July

Visiting family in Arizona and being amazed by the monsoons

Steven's Graduation

Congratulations to Steven! He graduated from ASU last week and celebrated his birthday. We had a great time celebrating with everyone on Saturday. We ate hamburgers, cake, and rocked out on Rock Band. Here are a few pictures from that night.
